Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Apache Airflow expertise to customers to help them use Astronomer’s managed Airflow service effectively.
  • •Solve challenging Airflow reliability problems, including configuration optimization and debugging production issues.
  • •Own the customer experience by prioritizing and resolving issues, meeting SLAs, and delivering guidance through the path to production.
  • •Collaborate with customers’ data engineers, system admins, DevOps teams, and management.
  • •Participate in 24x7 coverage through an assigned 6-hour pager period and a paid on-call rotation for weekend coverage.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4 years of experience with Python.
  • •1 year of experience with Airflow administration and DAG creation.
  • •Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/containers.
  • •Experience working with distributed systems on a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • •Strong troubleshooting and communication skills for working through a ticketing system and Zoom.
