Execute and/or lead FedRAMP-focused security assessments for client information systems. Apply deep security engineering and compliance expertise to evaluate and advise clients on FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements, including evidence collection, testing, and documentation. Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, perform vulnerability scanning/remediation validation using industry tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage with clients to lead assessment discussions, interviews, and provide expert guidance and solutions.
•Conduct security assessments by analyzing documentation, collecting evidence, performing testing, and evaluating compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF.
•Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis using tools such as Nessus, ACAS, DB Protect, WebInspect, NMAP, and DISA STIGs/STIG Viewer.
•Identify and apply vulnerability remediations, fix procedures, and mitigation techniques; recommend and validate remediation actions.
•Prepare customer-facing reports/attestations and lead technical/compliance discussions while coordinating and guiding cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

•High School diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology required.
•U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a necessary security clearance required by government customers (active SECRET clearance).
•Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
•3+ years of experience performing and/or participating in FISMA security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities.
•Industry certification required (e.g., CCNA Security; other listed advanced cybersecurity certifications also acceptable).
