Key Responsibilities

  • •Check aircraft and actuator sizing for Handling Qualities needs.
  • •Define flight domains to ensure safety, comfort, and reliability (including speeds, angle of attack protection settings, sideslip domains, and failure-case procedures).
  • •Analyze consequences of system failure on aircraft stability and control.
  • •Analyze in-service events and system behavior during these events.
  • •Prepare, perform, and follow up simulator and flight test requests to validate studies.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Flight Dynamics knowledge.
  • •Knowledge in test and/or Flight Physics.
  • •Knowledge in automatic control of system control feedback loop is a plus.
  • •Knowledge in control simulation tools (Matlab, Simulink) is a plus; advanced English and French required.
