Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and lead architecture and reliability initiatives for the Kubernetes-based platform, ensuring scalability for enterprise workloads and clear failure modes.
  • •Own and improve internal platform systems including deployments, environments, and developer tooling to raise reliability and developer experience.
  • •Build guardrails and self-serve tooling to multiply product engineers’ impact while reducing gates.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership to unblock and accelerate delivery and establish engineering standards.
  • •Contribute to systems thinking by bringing structure and rigor to complex infrastructure problems and shaping internal design principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Kubernetes scaling experience across production systems
  • •Strong understanding of distributed systems tradeoffs
  • •Experience in big-tech and/or startups that scaled infrastructure
  • •Strong systems mindset with a focus on reliability and performance
  • •Comfortable operating in ambiguity and owning initiatives across teams
