Lead the technical direction of a Kubernetes-based platform, owning architecture, reliability, and developer experience as the product scales 10x+ in enterprise customers. Collaborate with product and leadership, build guardrails and self-serve tooling, and raise the bar on observability, reliability, and operational efficiency across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and lead architecture and reliability initiatives for the Kubernetes-based platform, ensuring scalability for enterprise workloads and clear failure modes.
•Own and improve internal platform systems including deployments, environments, and developer tooling to raise reliability and developer experience.
•Build guardrails and self-serve tooling to multiply product engineers’ impact while reducing gates.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership to unblock and accelerate delivery and establish engineering standards.
•Contribute to systems thinking by bringing structure and rigor to complex infrastructure problems and shaping internal design principles.

Key Requirements

•Kubernetes scaling experience across production systems
•Strong understanding of distributed systems tradeoffs
•Experience in big-tech and/or startups that scaled infrastructure
•Strong systems mindset with a focus on reliability and performance
•Comfortable operating in ambiguity and owning initiatives across teams
