Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop hourly associates in an Inspection Center to achieve production and quality goals.
  • •Safely oversee the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly inventory targets.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, and implement steps to improve performance and adherence to standards.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects, and lead decisions to repair or reject inventory with the Inspection Center General Manager.
  • •Train associates on Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time, reducing re-checks and production delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old.
  • •Experience using computers and demonstrated functional expertise in Carvana’s reconditioning process.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently and perform extended standing and physical tasks in a shop environment.
  • •Strong communication skills and the ability to delegate tasks, multitask, prioritize, and resolve complex issues with guidance.
