Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage cost plans and estimates through design and delivery phases, updating costs at defined design milestones.
  • •Review and reconcile estimates with design teams and general contractors; maintain final cost plan aligned to program phasing and scope.
  • •Estimate, negotiate, and reconcile change orders; manage post-contract cost variances, change control, and contingency allocations.
  • •Review contractor and subcontractor pricing, validate scope and quantities, lead negotiations on behalf of the client, and ensure final accounts are agreed accurately and timely.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports and executive summaries, manage commitment tracking and cost impact reporting, and support compliance with internal delivery methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
  • •5–7 years’ experience in a cost management or quantity surveying role within the construction industry.
  • •Proven experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of moderate to high complexity, ideally campus or multi-building programs.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction delivery, including procurement routes, cost controls, change management, value management, and value engineering.
  • •Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently in complex project teams.
