Job Summary

Support GIS mapping and analysis for environmental siting, routing, and permitting of energy facilities across the Western US. Build and process GIS databases, produce mapping and cartographic deliverables, and generate GIS analysis and reporting. Assist with GIS quality control and develop ArcGIS web mapping and ArcGIS Field Maps solutions. Work on projects such as land use planning, environmental permitting, and transportation and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide mapping and analysis support for environmental siting, routing, and permitting of energy facilities.
•Develop GIS databases and perform data processing for project needs.
•Create GIS maps and cartographic designs and produce GIS analysis and reporting.
•Support GIS quality control and quality assurance activities.
•Develop ArcGIS web mapping and ArcGIS Field Maps solutions for project work.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Resource Management, or a related GIS-focused field.
•1-3+ years professional experience using Esri analysis software.
•Presentation-quality cartographic skills with portfolio examples.
•Experience providing GIS analysis for State and/or Federal environmental projects.
•Experience with ArcGIS Portal and Enterprise web map publishing, including Esri Field Maps.
