Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct desk studies, site inspections, rockface surveys, and geomorphological mapping.
  • •Support design, planning, and procurement of ground investigations.
  • •Supervise ground investigation fieldwork.
  • •Produce geological interpretation and preparation of interpretative reports.
  • •Assist with analysis of geotechnical data, preparation of ground models, and ground engineering solutions for foundations, retaining walls, and slope stability.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or higher.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • •Competent use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D software is desirable.
  • •Willingness and ability to work towards professional qualifications through the ICE, IOM3 or The Geological Society.
  • •Ability to work away from home on sites and occasionally in other offices; full UK driving license preferred.
