Key Responsibilities

  • •Own site-wide health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs for hyperscale data center construction projects.
  • •Perform daily walkthroughs for high-risk activities including trenching, crane operations, scaffolding, and heavy equipment use.
  • •Partner with prime contractors to ensure safety programs are implemented effectively and deliverables are provided on time.
  • •Track and report incident rates, near misses, and leading safety indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • •Lead safety oversight for the transition to live power environments (UPS, switchgear, generators), audit contractor safety programs, and lead weekly safety meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •5+ years of heavy industrial construction safety experience (e.g., oil and gas, power generation, or large-scale manufacturing).
  • •Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or OSHA 510; First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
  • •Deep working knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and NFPA 70E, including arc flash boundaries and PPE selection.
  • •Ability to influence site leadership and manage safety performance under aggressive project timelines, including on-site physical requirements.
