Job Summary

Join the Research and Development team to design, build, and maintain embedded C++ software for mining and construction equipment. You’ll develop machine control and automation modules, integrate sensor data, and use CAN/J1939/LIN/Ethernet for connectivity. Work with Agile Scrum or Kanban, test and validate control systems, and accelerate delivery using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) while enhancing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement robust, efficient C++ software for embedded applications used in drilling and material handling equipment.
•Develop modules for machine control systems, sensor data integration, and intelligent automation workflows.
•Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of control systems to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
•Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools and agentic workflows (including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot) to improve the software delivery process.
•Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Azure DevOps, within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
•5 to 8 years of embedded software development experience using C++ with strong OOP principles.
•Experience with embedded communication protocols including CAN, J1939, LIN, and Ethernet.
•Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and familiarity with agentic AI concepts such as context engineering and agentic workflows.
•Experience with Agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban) and version control/workflow tools including Git, JIRA, and Polarion.
