Key Responsibilities

•Oversee, monitor and report on the installation and commissioning of OMNY contactless fare payment devices, fare gates, and TVMs
•Assist in ensuring reliable performance testing of contactless and open-payment systems (credit card, mobile wallet)
•Work on-site within active subway station environments and coordinate with NYCT personnel to maintain service continuity
•Assist in granting access to the NYCT station infrastructure, including power and communication rooms
•Maintain installation logs, test reports, and field observation records while following safety and compliance requirements

Key Requirements

•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
•Minimum 7+ years proven experience working in MTA New York City Transit (NYCT) stations
•Hands-on experience with: Fare gates / turnstiles and Ticket vending machines (TVMs)
•Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
•Must be local to the New York metropolitan area
