Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor the Kpler LNG platform daily to maintain high accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for cargo data and LNG bunkering-related sectors.
  • •Structure, audit, and analyse large, disparate, or unstructured trade datasets to track global energy flows and identify emerging market trends.
  • •Partner with Product and Engineering to translate market observations into technical improvements, refining data pipelines and expanding platform features.
  • •Support sales enablement by conducting technical product demonstrations with global Sales teams to help clients extract strategic value.
  • •Track key market events and trade flows, including infrastructure outages, trade rerouting, and maintenance events, ensuring data models reflect real-time realities.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience as a Market Analyst (or similar) focused on Gas or LNG markets, with energy commodities experience as an advantage.
  • •Strong technical proficiency using advanced Excel, plus practical knowledge of SQL and scripting/programming languages such as Python or VBA.
  • •Ability to analyse large, complex, and unstructured datasets to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • •Motivated self-starter who can own responsibilities and uphold trusted accuracy and agility of data.
  • •Experience presenting data findings, platform features, or market insights to external clients and commercial stakeholders.
