Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with power and signal distribution systems, media servers, projectors, and LED wall-related production components.
  • •Participate in setup and tear-down of projectors, video control systems, and LED equipment, including directing local crews and managing loading/unloading and assembly/disassembly.
  • •Repair and maintain equipment and hardware following supervisors’ direction and Best Practice Standards.
  • •Ensure safety, security, and correct operation of projection and video front-end equipment, screen hardware, power/signal distribution, LED walls, and projectors.
  • •Follow production cues and comply with Feld Entertainment and Marvel Universe Live production rules, regulations, and safety/security procedures; accept other duties as assigned.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or higher in Technical Theatre and/or 5+ years of real-world experience in indoor pyrotechnics and special effects for movie, theatre, or arena touring.
  • •Troubleshoot signal and power distribution paths.
  • •Climb and work at heights (focus, adjust, repair) above 55 ft before, during, and after performances and during rigging calls, load-ins, and load-outs.
  • •Use and understand test equipment and meters (volt, ohm, scope, amp).
  • •Program and operate 3D projection mapping systems and perform large-scale blending/warping; knowledge of Barco units/toolsets and media servers is required.
