Job Summary

Lead the Connectivity engineering team to make Claude the most connected AI. You’ll own key infrastructure including the MCP proxy for tool routing plus OAuth and token management, working with partners across London and San Francisco. Drive reliability and enterprise trust through token refresh at scale, admin controls for IT governance, and operational rigor (on-call, incidents, postmortems) while setting roadmap direction and engineering best practices.

•Take an inclusive, equitable approach to hiring and coaching, maintaining a high-performing team.
•Coach and mentor direct reports, providing career development guidance and helping them achieve goals.
•Partner with Connectivity engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to define the team roadmap and create clarity across an evolving environment.
•Establish and drive engineering best practices and operational rigor (on-call, incident response, postmortems) for infrastructure depended on by other teams and external partners.

•Demonstrated success building a culture of belonging and product/engineering excellence.
