Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate national groupage, collection, and distribution operations.
  • •Organise and optimise daily freight flows across hubs, cross-docks, and distribution networks.
  • •Ensure operational data completeness and accuracy (addresses, contacts, dimensions, weights, loading metres, and special delivery requirements).
  • •Create and issue transport orders to carriers, and manage carrier performance and loading/unloading/delivery deadlines.
  • •Track shipments via Track & Trace, address operational deviations, and analyse KPIs and costs while preparing operational reports and supporting improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two years of experience in groupage, national distribution, collection, control tower, domestic transport, or comparable logistics operations.
  • •Strong knowledge of national groupage and distribution, including freight consolidation, hub operations, cross-docking, multi-drop deliveries, and multi-pickup collections.
  • •Good understanding of route planning, vehicle-capacity utilisation, chargeable weight and volumetric calculations, and transport profitability and cost structures.
  • •Practical experience with PC applications and TMS platforms, including Track & Trace systems and operational KPI monitoring.
  • •Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills to coordinate high shipment volumes and manage exceptions in a fast-paced environment.
