Job Summary

Lead pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying or Cost & Commercial Management for UK building and infrastructure projects. Support estimating, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance, and ongoing financial/commercial management across projects of varying size and complexity. Join a large PMCM team and, depending on seniority, may deliver workstreams, lead or mentor QS/commercial colleagues, contribute to bids, and represent WSP UK at industry events.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying or Cost & Commercial Management services, including estimating and cost planning.
•Support procurement, cost assurance, and post-contract financial/commercial management for projects.
•Deliver QS/commercial or infrastructure projects and, depending on seniority, lead a QS/commercial team.
•Train and mentor staff and contribute to bid writing and winning work.
•Represent WSP UK at industry events and collaborate across stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

•MRICS or Assoc RICS, or working towards a professional qualification.
•Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Demonstrate applicable knowledge, ability, and experience in QS/Cost and Commercial competencies required by relevant professional institutions.
•Where applicable, have demonstrable management, project leadership, and delivery experience at senior level.
•Hold a degree, or similar higher education academic qualification.
