Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying (QS) or Cost & Commercial Management services, including estimating, cost planning, procurement, and cost assurance.
  • •Manage post-contract financial and commercial aspects of projects across varying size and complexity.
  • •Depending on seniority, deliver QS/commercial and infrastructure projects, including leading a QS/commercial team.
  • •Train and mentor staff and contribute to bid writing and winning work.
  • •Represent WSP UK at industry events and support commissions including potential client office or site involvement.

Key Requirements

  • •MRICS or Assoc RICS, or working towards a professional qualification.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •Demonstrable knowledge and experience across QS/Cost and Commercial competencies required by relevant professional institutions.
  • •Where applicable, demonstrable management, project leadership and delivery experience at senior level.
  • •Knowledge of QS/Cost and Commercial Management, including where applicable experience in public sector or complex infrastructure framework projects.
