Job Summary

Lead end-to-end semiconductor equipment NPI supply chain design and commercialization for Applied Materials’ Etch business unit. Own supply chain strategy from NPI through high volume, including dual sourcing to reduce supply risk, supplier negotiations to hit material cost and gross margin targets, and cross-functional delivery across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and quality. Manage program risks, present sourcing strategies to executives, and provide guidance on emerging technologies and materials integration.

•Develop and implement effective supply chain strategy from NPI to high volume, meeting performance requirements.
•Collaborate and negotiate with key suppliers to ensure reliable, cost-effective materials and component supply.
•Oversee end-to-end semiconductor equipment NPI development programs from a supply chain perspective, coordinating internal teams and partners.
•Identify and mitigate supply chain single points of failure, create process maps for long lead components, and execute dual sourcing strategies.
•Create and maintain material cost reduction roadmaps, lead supplier price negotiations, and maintain cost apportionment models to meet cost and gross margin targets.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 101,000 - 139,000

Key Requirements

•BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
•Minimum 4 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, fabrication and/or supply chain management.
•Proven experience in program management, supply chain management, and business acumen.
•Knowledge of various fabrication commodities and processes.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
