Build and maintain an AI-powered multi-agent architecture (Visa Assist) that powers Visa client-facing channels like Chat, Email, and Portal. You’ll develop Python microservices using FastAPI, LangChain, MCP JSON-RPC 2.0, and NATS, implement RAG/agent workers, and deliver intent classification and routing. Own design discussions, telemetry/observability, testing, and code reviews, while collaborating with product, QA, data science, and cybersecurity teams to meet security and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements and incorporate feedback for Visa Assist components across Chat, Email, and Portal.
•Contribute to system design/architecture, including intent classifier enhancements, agent worker capabilities, and NATS messaging patterns and documentation.
•Develop and maintain microservices for the multi-agent architecture using Python, FastAPI, LangChain, and NATS messaging.
•Implement and optimize agent workers and RAG pipelines using LangChain agents and MCP JSON-RPC 2.0, optimizing for performance, failover, and recovery.
•Implement telemetry and distributed tracing/monitoring, create test plans, participate in code reviews, and support incident management via platform uptime and SLAs.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree.
•Experience in technologies/software systems (2+ years) and in developing web-based or mobile applications (2+ years).
•Experience in system design and architecture for product components, and debugging/troubleshooting software issues.
•Experience with code review and applying coding standards.
•Experience in test planning/execution and in responding to support requests and deploying fixes.
