Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, assess, and manage risks and assumptions across projects and programmes with varying scale and complexity.
  • •Plan and implement risk management processes tailored to client needs and aligned with best practice.
  • •Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts and maintain robust risk registers and risk information.
  • •Drive implementation of mitigation actions and develop measurable management responses post-mitigation.
  • •Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) to support understanding of remaining cost and schedule risk exposure.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional risk management experience across the project lifecycle in one or more sectors, with nuclear experience desirable.
  • •Ability to tailor and adjust risk strategies and processes to changing needs, with excellent communication of complex risk information.
  • •Conversant with risk management systems such as Safran, @risk, and PRA.
  • •Familiarity with at least one risk standard or approach (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA).
  • •Risk qualification (e.g., APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR) and membership in a relevant professional body are desirable.
