Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the cooperating school.
  • •Verify attendance and placement of Principal Candidate in appropriate setting.
  • •Complete two formal observations of the Principal Candidate (at 8 weeks and 16 weeks) and analyze/critique them with strengths and refinements.
  • •Collaborate with the Cooperating Principal to complete the Principal Candidate Midterm and Final Evaluation forms.
  • •Act as a counselor to the Principal Candidate by providing individual conference time after each observation.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Education
  • •Current and valid Principal and/or Administrator License/Certification (K-12)
  • •Minimum of 3 years principal/superintendent experience
  • •OR Special Education Certified
