Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan delivery journeys to ensure efficiency and smooth supply chain operations.
  • •Support safe loading and unloading of the trailer.
  • •Carry out full safety checks on the lorry.
  • •Maintain knowledge of the Highway Code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and internal transport procedures.
  • •Address unexpected situations on the day, communicate problems/delays, report vehicle issues, and complete supplier/Partnership documentation accurately.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Manual UK LGV1 C + E driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
  • •Valid Driver Qualification Card (with up-to-date training) and a valid Tachograph Card.
  • •Previous experience driving LGV (articulated vehicles).
  • •Ability to carry out full safety checks on your lorry.
  • •Knowledge of the Highway Code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and required driver procedures and documentation.
