Key Responsibilities

  • •Strengthen strategic partnerships across Universal Studio Group to support Production Slate objectives and deputize for the SVP in leadership and Greenlight meetings.
  • •Develop production finance plans (multi-episode budgets, schedules, cashflow models) and review/challenge budgets and assumptions using benchmarks and internal comparables.
  • •Advise on tax credit strategies and oversee financial performance, including investments, revenues, cashflows, and loan activity, ensuring alignment with approved parameters.
  • •Oversee production cost controls (contingency, breakage, overages) and provide governance through approval matrices, banking authorities, and system access in compliance with internal policies.
  • •Lead and manage freelance Production Finance Controllers, build a production accounting talent pipeline aligned with NBCU practices, and improve Production Finance systems and practices.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive international Production Controller experience across production and executive levels for major broadcasters and SVOD platforms, with US production exposure preferred.
  • •Hands-on experience across diverse TV genres and knowledge of US-style amortization and pattern budgets.
  • •Strong expertise in US and UK guild payrolls (e.g., SAG, DGA, WGA, Equity) and production finance systems including Eclipse, PSL+, and Movie Magic.
  • •Ability to operate as a strategic financial partner in large multinational studio environments, focused on value optimization.
  • •Strong leadership and executive-level communication skills, with integrity and the ability to manage multiple productions concurrently while assessing risks and resourcing needs.
