Key Responsibilities

•Clean manufacturing and general storage areas daily, removing waste and placing it into designated containers.
•Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning, keeping parts with the equipment afterward and storing hoses properly.
•Follow GMPs and sanitation SOPs, including USDA food/sanitation guidelines and required housekeeping practices.
•Operate sanitation equipment, including compactors (inedible and corrugated) and power washers, and operate equipment controls safely.
•Follow lockout/tagout procedures and report equipment concerns, malfunctions, or potential hazards to supervisors or maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bilingual English preferred; must be able to read and write English to follow sanitation and safety procedures.
•Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and perform tasks involving standing, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing steps/stairs.
•Demonstrate workable knowledge of chemical usage for cleaning/sanitation, including proper chemical handling and PPE.
•Good mechanical aptitude with safe cleaning practices around equipment moving parts.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet sanitation/quality demands; performance evaluation within the first 120 hours.
