Job Summary

Partner with Canadian and US site leaders as the day-to-day HR resource across a multi-province warehouse network. Own multi-jurisdiction employment standards compliance, employee relations and investigations, and manager coaching. Build scalable HR processes, maintain handbooks and policies, and support onboarding/offboarding, health & safety partnership, and Canadian hiring alongside the talent acquisition partner. Location is hybrid from Downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as HR partner to Canadian and US site leaders, coaching and translating business priorities into people initiatives.
•Own multi-provincial employment standards compliance, including Quebec francization and human rights/leave requirements.
•Maintain Canadian and US employee handbooks, jurisdiction-specific addenda, and HR policies.
•Conduct workplace investigations and coach managers on performance management, progressive discipline, and termination decisions.
•Support HR operations including onboarding/offboarding, work eligibility verification, and health & safety partnership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 90,000 - 110,000

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including 1–2 years in an HR Business Partner role.
•Hands-on experience applying Canadian employment standards across at least two provinces (e.g., ON, BC, QC, AB).
•Working knowledge of provincial human rights, occupational health & safety, and workers' compensation frameworks.
•Working knowledge of US employment law sufficient to support US sites (e.g., California, New Jersey), including wage-and-hour and state-specific requirements.
•Solid employee relations experience, including conducting workplace investigations.
