Key Responsibilities

•Design and synthesize small molecules with optimal properties using organic and medicinal chemistry approaches.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Biology, Computational Science, AI/ML teams to speed up discovery.
•Coordinate with Clinical Research Organizations to maximize library and compound synthesis.
•Keep up-to-date with cutting-edge chemistry and automation trends to propose solutions and reduce costs.
•Analyze and present chemistry and SAR data at internal/external meetings; draft invention disclosures and publications.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 97,000 - 139,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Up to 5 years of post-PhD experience in organic or medicinal chemistry in academic, biotech, or pharma settings
•Strong synthetic and analytical chemistry skills with the ability to execute multi-step synthesis of complex molecules
•Knowledge in modern medicinal chemistry and lead optimization techniques, including multi-parameter bioactivity and physicochemical property optimization
•Familiarity with molecular modeling and computational tools to accelerate discovery
•Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
