Job Summary

Join the Landing Gear Design Office Team within Military Air Systems Engineering and work on the end-to-end engineering lifecycle of landing gear for military platforms, with a pivotal role in the A400M program. Own complex system architectures and structural designs, conduct load, stress, and risk analyses for qualification and certification, drive system integration and V&V, and support continued airworthiness through technical risk and safety assessments.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and specify landing gear systems, subsystems, components, and structural architectures to meet safety, quality, cost, and operational requirements.
•Perform load, stress, and risk analyses to qualify and certify landing gear modules throughout the system lifecycle.
•Drive system integration and V&V processes aligned with A-400M configuration and safety standards.
•Manage continued airworthiness and deliver technical risk and safety assessments for critical operational challenges.
•Provide expert engineering support to MAP, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and customer support, including supplier interactions.

Key Requirements

•Aeronautical Engineering Degree or a related engineering discipline.
•At least 10 years of experience in the aeronautical and military industries.
•At least 5 years of experience in the A-400M Program.
•At least 5 years of experience within a Landing Gear Design Office (DO).
•Proficiency in landing gear systems design, load/stress analysis, specification generation, and certification.
