  • •Design and implement traffic management rules, including GSLB/LSLB and SSL/TLS key/certificate management.
  • •Configure and maintain F5 iRules to manage application traffic and implement required functionality.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve F5-related performance and availability issues; monitor health and performance and support incident response and root-cause analysis.
  • •Use Azure DevOps (ADO) boards and Scrumban planning to execute daily operational tasks, meet deadlines, document work, and coordinate with other IT teams/vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP systems, including load balancers, ADCs, and SSL offloading.
  • •Deep proficiency configuring and managing F5 systems for high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
  • •Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS) and experience with F5 iRules/traffic management policies.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot complex F5 issues, including performance, connectivity, and security problems.
  • •Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) boards and Scrumban/Agile methodologies under tight DoD operational timelines; strong documentation skills.
  • •Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • •Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
  • •US Citizenship Required.
