Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive verbal or written instructions from supervisor and/or plant personnel.
  • •Operate distribution center/warehouse tools and equipment to perform processing tasks across departments.
  • •Check material dimensions before, during, and after processing to maintain specified tolerances.
  • •Count and weigh pieces and scrap, segregate by grades, apply ID tags, and verify/package orders to customer specifications.
  • •Lubricate, clean, adjust, and perform minor repairs to production equipment; maintain a clean work area and assist with equipment/facility maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required.
  • •1-3 years previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
  • •Previous experience with circular saws, grinders, milling machines, lathes, cut off saws and related processing equipment, including material-handling equipment (preferred).
  • •Able to perform efficiently under supervision and direction.
  • •Basic math & measuring skills.
