Key Responsibilities

  • •Adjust, repair, or replace aircraft structural systems and components during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
  • •Perform repairs and inspections and enter work in the electronic logbook/phase book.
  • •Use tools required for sheet metal operations, including brakes, shears, heat-treating ovens, grinders, sanders, and powered tools.
  • •Use hand and air-powered tools to shoot, pull, buck, or install fasteners in structural repairs.
  • •Remove and install panels and assist the phase team with teardown, inspection, repair, reassembly, and structural repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • •Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • •Must have minimum 6 years of aircraft structural repair experience.
  • •Must have own tools/toolbox and be able to pass a respirator and hex chrome physical.
  • •Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb/work on or around aircraft (MH-6/60/47 experience preferred).
