Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, code compliance, and safety validation for power distribution systems to ensure peak equipment performance.
  • •Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and conceptual design through execution and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • •Develop, review, and approve site-wide electrical specifications for MV and LV distribution equipment.
  • •Author feasibility reports and conceptual designs for capital investment projects and repair & maintenance expense projects.
  • •Provide engineering support during pre-construction, construction, and final turnover to Operations, including managing external consultant/design teams and contractors/subcontractors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of 2+ years of electrical design or project experience in an industrial setting.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • •Knowledge of MV/LV equipment and power system fault/coordination studies, protection schemes, and protective relays.
  • •Proficiency with electrical modeling software (e.g., ETAP, SKM) and relevant industrial regulatory codes (IBC, IFC, NFPA).
