Key Responsibilities

  • •Pass LOTO training and inspect machines for proper guarding and correct operating cycle times at the start of each shift and after breaks.
  • •Verify material loading system performance and check grinders, hydraulic oil level and temperature, and ensure machines are not slamming.
  • •Perform timely preventative maintenance and accurately complete PM work orders.
  • •Make minor machine adjustments and/or repairs to address quality issues, report parts used, and support changeovers and startup equipment.
  • •Record machine issues and submit downtime reports, and provide assistance to production assistants, QAs, other mechanics, technicians, and engineers.

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Preferably plastics experience.
  • •Have own set of basic tools.
  • •Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, bend, and climb continuously during a 12-hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
