Job Summary

As a Smart City Solution Architect, you will design and guide the implementation of integrated smart city solutions across mobility, energy, environment, governance and digital services. You’ll translate urban challenges into scalable, secure architectures, lead multi-stakeholder collaboration, and ensure alignment with international standards, cybersecurity, and sustainability while providing technical leadership from concept through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the architectural design of integrated smart city solutions spanning mobility, energy, environment, governance, and digital services.
•Translate business requirements and urban challenges into scalable, secure, and interoperable technical solutions.
•Collaborate with strategy consultants, technical teams, city authorities, and solution providers to ensure end-to-end alignment.
•Design high-level and detailed solution architectures including applications, data, integration, and infrastructure components.
•Develop solution blueprints, reference architectures, and integration patterns aligned with international smart city standards (e.g., ISO 37106, ITU-T Y.4200).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, ICT, or related field.
•8+ years in ICT architecture or smart solutions design, with at least 3 years focused on smart city programs.
•Proven ability to design complex, multi-domain smart city systems and digital platforms.
•Experience working with cloud-native, edge, IoT, and data integration technologies.
•Proficiency in developing solution architecture, reference models, and architectural governance documents.
