Job Summary

Operate quarry heavy and light mobile equipment (including skid steers) and support safe, efficient daily movement of materials. Perform pre-operational checks, routine servicing, and site clean-up while keeping work platforms clear and safe. Run and monitor the crushing plant as required, assist with maintenance/repairs (including basic welding/fitting), and report operational or environmental issues. Maintain strict compliance with OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate heavy and light mobile equipment (including skid steers) to maintain quarry access points as trained and directed.
•Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing of assigned equipment.
•Conduct site clean-up with hand tools and help ensure work platforms remain clear and safe.
•Safely run and monitor the crushing plant as required.
•Assist with plant repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic welding and fitting, and report operational or environmental issues to the foreman.

Key Requirements

•Minimum age of 18 due to work environment requirements.
•High school diploma or GED required.
•Pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and “Fit for Work” physical.

•Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and on rough terrain with physical demands (climbing, steering/driving, lifting 25–50 lbs, and safe operation vision).
