Job Summary

Own the end-to-end technical relationship with customers deploying an AI product suite, from discovery to design, pilot, production, and expansion. Translate customer problems into reference architectures on Arango’s multi-model platform, including GraphRAG and knowledge-graph design. Build prototypes and reference implementations, guide secure/observable deployments with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, and iterate on retrieval and evaluation using offline/online metrics and A/B tests.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical customer relationship end to end as the primary professional services contact across discovery, design, pilot, production, and expansion.
•Design target architectures on Arango’s multi-model platform, including graph data models, AQL query/traversal patterns, and GraphRAG retrieval design tailored to the customer’s domain.
•Build reference implementations and prototypes to prove value early, including graph schema, data connectors, GraphRAG pipelines, tool/agent orchestration, and APIs.
•Guide production deployment into secure, observable services alongside customer engineers, using CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and proper testing.
•Establish evaluation and monitoring practices, architect hybrid retrieval (graph traversal/vector search), and iterate on prompts, models, retrieval strategy, and graph structure using metrics and A/B tests.

Key Requirements

•Deep graph expertise, including graph data modeling, graph query/traversal (AQL or equivalents like Cypher/Gremlin), graph algorithms, and knowledge-graph design for AI.
•Direct experience building GraphRAG or knowledge-graph-backed retrieval for LLM applications.
•5+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical professional services, building and operating production systems.
•Strong applied AI and Python skills, plus systems design fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, networking).
•Experience with graph and hybrid retrieval using vector databases, plus cloud/container and CI/CD/deployment practices.
