Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine Power BI table ingestion mode (DirectQuery vs Import) and improve SQL generated for Databricks using Power Query steps.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to build new enterprise reporting from Databricks aligned with existing reporting from Snowflake.
  • •Research and test new or more efficient options to improve reporting development throughput.
  • •Help document model schemas, API integrations, and AI governance standards.
  • •Support analytics/AI platform administration, monitoring/troubleshooting data refreshes and workloads, and participate in basic incident root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Current graduate student (or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Foundational programming skills writing moderately complex SQL.
  • •Power BI experience creating Semantic Models referencing a data warehouse and validating them against source/existing reports.
  • •Ability to write and understand SQL.
  • •Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
