Job Summary

Structural engineer in our ERI group, coordinating multidisciplinary industrial projects and leading discipline responsibilities for concrete and steel design. You’ll perform design calculations, prepare plans and specifications, mentor engineers, contribute to feasibility studies and budgets, and support site investigations, ensuring code compliance while delivering durable, sustainable infrastructure for industrial projects in Sept-Îles, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and act as the discipline lead for industrial-scale projects
•Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
•Design plans, specifications, and details for structural projects
•Provide technical recommendations and make decisions on complex aspects
•Review work of engineers and technicians, mentor them, and support skills development

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design projects (reinforced concrete and steel)
•Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or eligible to join
•Proficiency in at least one structural design software (SAP2000, Safi, Advance Design of America)
•Knowledge of Etabs and Safe is an asset
