Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new systems for on-site installation and repairs.
  • •Diagnose and repair environmental-control systems using electronics, direct digital control, airflow, refrigeration theory, and control/mechanical techniques.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying issues, diagnosing, and repairing equipment at customer locations.
  • •Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand installation/repair requirements and forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; typically 3-5 years of HVAC/controls experience (technical school or formal training preferred).
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computer devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit and run, reckless/careless driving, license suspension) in the previous 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred.
  • •EPA preferred.
