Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform operations functions and preventive/corrective maintenance for plant equipment under site management direction.
  • •Troubleshoot and document issues found on shift, assisting in problem resolution and recommending repair techniques.
  • •Conduct daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
  • •Perform excitation system inspections and preventive maintenance, and maintain operating procedures aligned to equipment-to-system relationships.
  • •Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental procedures (including Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety, and PPE), and may train lower-level employees.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6 years related experience.
  • •Complete Tier 2 within the primary skill for the role’s performance requirements.
  • •Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Demonstrate computer-based skills.
  • •Pass the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program to be considered.
