Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee pharmacy inventory by performing physical inventory moves, documenting moves accurately, removing and documenting outdated drugs, and partnering to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • •Develop and implement pharmacy automation and inventory management training programs.
  • •Supervise return-to-stock (RTS) processes and organize drug disposal/returns in accordance with Stericycle and state board regulations.
  • •Follow state and federal pharmacy regulations for ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions/drug products, and maintain HIPAA security and privacy rules for protected health information (PHI).
  • •Support pharmacy operations by stocking, labeling, assembling, and filling medications or other tasks as permitted, while maintaining a clean and sanitary, safe pharmacy environment and infection-control compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • •Hold a nationally certified pharmacy technician license (EXCPT or PTCB) and maintain active certified pharmacy technician registration with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.
  • •Have 1+ years of experience with Parata MAX machines.
  • •Demonstrate effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
  • •Be proficient in English (verbal and written) and Windows-based computer systems.
