Job Summary

Design, develop, and secure a highly available ClickHouse Cloud database platform for regulated, mission-critical environments across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem. Build deployment automation for connected and disconnected (airgapped) systems, deploy on Kubernetes with replication and backups, and create Helm/Kubernetes tooling. Work with Security, Dataplane, ClickHouse Core, and Infrastructure to meet compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, Protected B, IRAP) while optimizing performance, reliability, and storage.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop a highly available, scalable, and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform for regulated and mission-critical environments.
•Build deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem systems, including disconnected environments when needed.
•Deploy ClickHouse Cloud on Kubernetes/containerized environments with high availability, replication, and backup.
•Develop and maintain Helm charts, operators, and Kubernetes manifests for database management.
•Automate deployments and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot performance, security, and operational issues.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of software development experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
•Experience with ClickHouse or relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
•Proficiency with Kubernetes tools including Helm, Kustomize, operators, Istio, and service mesh.
•Experience deploying containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), ideally in regulated/enterprise environments.
•Proficiency in Go or Python for automation and integration, plus strong communication and production debugging skills.
