Key Responsibilities

  • •Create docs plans and write new feature documentation in partnership with stakeholders to support a world-class customer experience.
  • •Identify, advocate for, and prioritize medium-to-large docs projects, including mentoring less-senior writers.
  • •Troubleshoot doc issue requests, analyze complex issues, and decide when to fold issues into larger content strategy projects.
  • •Review and triage open source pull requests and issues, and alert the team when they are piling up.
  • •Peer review teammates’ work with insightful editorial and technical feedback to clarify the user experience.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years writing technical documentation for developer tools, including version control knowledge, single-sourcing content, and experience managing documentation systems.

  • •Ability to compassionately give and receive editorial and technical feedback.
  • •Communicate clearly and concisely, especially when working asynchronously or with a distributed team.
