Job Summary

Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and ancillary credit exposure by reviewing updated financials and proactively monitoring client and industry risk. Lead client diligence calls, partner with Credit Risk and Relationship Managers, and maintain forward-looking views of creditworthiness. Oversee loan extensions, amendments, waivers, and ancillary products (including treasury management, FX, and derivatives), ensure compliance, and produce portfolio performance reporting for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain an independent, current and forward-looking view of each client’s creditworthiness and communicate it to business and risk partners.
•Work with Credit Risk and Relationship Managers to manage the bank’s exposure to portfolio clients.
•Analyze historical financials and projections to ensure accurate risk ratings.
•Manage approval and documentation for loan extensions, amendments, waivers, and ancillary products (treasury management, FX, interest rate derivatives, commodity exposure).
•Create and deliver portfolio performance reports and presentations for senior management, and lead/assist special projects to improve portfolio management processes and systems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum 8 years of experience in portfolio management or a related field.
•Subject matter expert understanding of accounting, credit, structuring, underwriting, and legal documentation.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with business partners.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
