Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead environmental assessments including PSA, DSA, QRA, DQRA and CSM development, ensuring accurate evaluations.
  • •Oversee groundwater and surface water monitoring to provide data for project analysis and decision-making.
  • •Design and implement site investigations in geochemical and hydrogeological environments, including setting out rationales.
  • •Develop, optioneer, specify, execute, and validate remediation projects to meet environmental standards.
  • •With support from senior staff, provide strategic advice to clients on managing and mitigating impacts on groundwater and surface waters.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic background in geochemical and hydrogeological geoscience, engineering hydrology, or related subjects.
  • •Proven experience in geochemical and hydrogeological contaminated land assessment and management.
  • •Strong understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
  • •Hands-on experience in field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, monitoring system installation, and sampling (groundwater/ground gas).
  • •Experience in hydrogeological site characterisation and risk assessment, with numerical modelling advantageous.
