Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve the enterprise Data Governance framework, operating model, and decision-making structure.
  • •Drive clear data ownership and stewardship across business and technical teams.
  • •Establish governance policies and standards covering data quality, classification, lifecycle management, and responsible use.
  • •Ensure consistent governance of the enterprise data glossary and critical business definitions.
  • •Define and report on governance KPIs, risks, and adoption metrics for senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data engineering; DAMA certification would be a plus
  • •Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in data governance or data management with a track record of implementing governance frameworks in complex organisations
  • •Solid understanding of enterprise data governance practices including data ownership, data quality, metadata management, data classification and lifecycle management
  • •Strong knowledge of data platforms, architecture, and technical governance concepts such as lineage, data contracts, and platform guardrails
  • •Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into operational frameworks, standards, and measurable controls
