Job Summary

Support the effective operation and continuous improvement of the financial control environment across an assigned region. Ensure consistent application of the Group’s risk and control Matrix (RACM), providing regional oversight, monitoring, training, and operational support to in-country finance teams. Coordinate annual control assessments, monitor compliance across country teams, remediate control gaps, support internal assurance and audits, and improve finance system controls and month-/year-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement Group control policies and processes at regional level, ensuring adoption.
•Coordinate the regional annual control assessment cycle and oversee timely reviews and submissions to Group Internal Controls.
•Monitor compliance with RACM and the Business Control Framework across country teams and support remediation of control deficiencies.
•Support internal assurance reviews and work with Group Internal Audit to schedule and support audit activity within the region.
•Deliver training to regional and in-country finance teams on Group controls and RACM, and support month-end and year-end close controls.

Key Requirements

•Accounting qualification (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent experience.
•Strong experience in financial controls, internal audit, or finance operations within a multinational environment.
•Good understanding of IFRS, control frameworks, and financial governance requirements.
•Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.
•Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and support remediation activities.
