Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle state tax compliance and tax accounting, including sales & use, property, and state income/franchise taxes.
  • •Support preparation of tax filings, mailings, and payments, including evaluating purchasing data for use tax reporting.
  • •Assist with information requests from internal and external auditors and perform detailed research on tax laws and regulations.
  • •Perform month-end income tax provisions and manage complex invoice-level tax inquiries from field employees.
  • •Communicate across departments to create efficient workflows, improve tax-account processes, mentor junior team members, and support special projects.
  • •Use spreadsheet formulas and pivot tables to manage and analyze revenue streams and related data, and collaborate on strategic initiatives across applicable taxes.
