Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct technical support via phone and ticketing system to customers and partners across APAC.
  • •Run real-time troubleshooting sessions and collect data/traces for investigations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Analyze, investigate, and resolve problems involving FortiWeb, FortiADC, and FortiDDoS products.
  • •Engage DevOps after initial triage for tickets related to cloud solutions products (FortiAppSec Cloud, FortiDAST, FortiCASB).
  • •Develop core competency across Fortinet products, manage multiple issues in parallel, and reproduce customer issues on lab equipment to isolate and solve problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Good understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) and load balancing concepts, including security and vulnerabilities.
  • •Basic working knowledge of Regular Expression (RE), plus HTTP, DNS, SSL, and PKI.
  • •Working knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP protocol, and ability to understand decoded network traffic traces using Wireshark.
  • •Administrative knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux, and/or cloud technologies; experience with VMware and/or other virtualization/cloud technologies.
  • •Ability to reproduce issues in customer environments on lab equipment and perform technical investigation and resolution, including knowledge of authentication protocols is an advantage.
