Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure Food Safety, Quality Assurance, SQF, and Regulatory programs are executed and documented to maintain compliance and product integrity.
  • •Investigate and resolve product/process failures quickly to minimize downtime and consistently meet safety and quality standards.
  • •Manage HACCP, SSOP, and product specifications to prevent failures and drive continuous improvement with FSQA and Operations.
  • •Conduct operational and pre-operational sanitation inspections and micro sampling; maintain and reassess the SQF Plan and communicate updates to the team.
  • •Manage work assignments, training, and development of FSQA staff to foster a high-performance team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years’ relevant experience in food safety or quality assurance, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Experience acting as a lead through training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process or project.
  • •Familiarity with meat processing, USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and SQF.
  • •Ability to uphold regulatory, company, and customer standards and address inquiries or complaints.
  • •Preference for HACCP and SQF certifications.
