Job Summary

Drive advanced analytics and build scalable machine learning models to enable data-driven decisions across business functions. Work with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data from SAP ECC and SAP HANA and non-SAP systems. Lead end-to-end AI/ML development, data pipeline creation, and model deployment using tools like Databricks, while ensuring performance monitoring, interpretability, and continuous improvement. Provide technical and people leadership within a GCC in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and drive a data science roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals, identifying high-impact analytics opportunities.
•Lead end-to-end development of AI/ML models, including scalable data pipelines and model training workflows using SAP and cloud-native tools.
•Translate complex business problems into analytical frameworks and deliver measurable, actionable outcomes.
•Ensure model interpretability, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement over time.
•Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to enable seamless data integration and model consumption, while providing technical guidance and best practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
•10–12 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or applied machine learning in enterprise environments.
•Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP HANA data models, tables, and integration layers.
•Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL, including end-to-end ML/data pipelines.
•3–4 years of experience leading a team in data science/advanced analytics (preferably within a GCC setup).
