Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and own the company’s driver-based operating model (ARR build, headcount and compensation planning, opex by department, cash runway, and long-range plan).
  • •Own end-to-end operating dashboards by defining metrics with department leaders, building/maintaining them, and setting accountability standards.
  • •Automate and streamline planning and reporting, leveraging AI tools aggressively.
  • •Run the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast processes end to end.
  • •Own monthly management pack and board/investor financial reporting, including SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, burn multiple, runway) and budget/forecast vs actual analysis with the Controller.

Key Requirements

  • •5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience, including 3+ years in a B2B SaaS or subscription business.
  • •Built an ARR model and headcount plan yourself, and ran a full budget cycle end to end at a venture-backed company (Series A–C).
  • •Comfortable with SQL and a BI tool (Looker, Metabase, or similar), pulling your own data and building dashboards or scripts with AI tools.
  • •Fluent in SaaS metrics and investor interpretation (e.g., bookings vs ARR vs recognized revenue) and able to explain to non-finance leaders.
  • •Strong accounting fluency working with a Controller (accruals, deferred revenue, capitalized costs) and expert in Excel/Google Sheets.
